Happy Birthday to Me!

Last Tuesday was my birthday. I am and have always been a firm believer in celebrating the day you were born. I see nothing wrong with planning my own birthday outings and including all of my friends and associates to join in my birthday fun. This past birthday was no different. The weekend before my birthday my friends had put together a surprise birthday party that I thought was for my friend but it turned out to be a joint party for both of us. They had invited a stripper (which was more for my friend than me) but it was a great party because my oldest friends were there with my newer friends. It was wonderful to have all of my friends in one place at one party. Good times!

This pre-birthday party was capped off by a lovely dinner with my parents and cousin (who just recently moved down to Atlanta from St. Louis). So far my birthday was off to a great start.
